My mom always told me to wear cotton underwear, and so I did, even though at the time I didn't really understand why.

Today, as part of Cocotfyma, I think a lot about the advice our mothers have given us and how we can pass it on to new generations. We realize how important it is to educate ourselves about what truly cares for and protects our bodies. When it comes to underwear, there is research that shows that advice was true: most doctors agree that using natural fibers like cotton and bamboo is best for our skin.

Cocotfyma is a family business founded by my mom, Rosaura, over 25 years ago in Peru. In 2017, I joined the project to continue this legacy, but also with a vision for the future. Since 2018, we have been working to become a company that meets fair trade standards, ensuring we care not only for those who use our products, but also for those who make them possible.

Our underwear made with natural fibers is a direct representation of our commitment to health, well-being, and ethics. We believe that understanding our bodies better and feeling empowered in them are completely connected. Underwear can be functional, healthy, and beautiful.
